RE Teacher Gary Smith's Muslim attackers jailed

Summary:
Gary Smith, a 38 year old religion teacher from the Central Foundation Girls' School in London was beaten. The attackers, four Muslim men, left him while Gary was unconscious. The four Muslim men attacked Gary with a metal rod and a brick. The reason why these men attacked Gary was because he teached Muslim girls about all kind of religions (and the teacher was not a Muslim himself). Two of the Muslim men, Azad Hussain and Akmol Hussain were given the sentence of a minimum of five years in prison. The other two men deserved a longer prison punishment. Simon Alam has given ten years and  Sheikh Rashid was sentenced for eight years. Their judge, John Hand, said he believed that the four men could cause a real danger for society because of their extreme believe towards the Islam. Luckily the teacher survived the attack, but he had multiple injuries.  One of the attackers said 'he did it in the name of Allah, so he did not mind going to prison'.

Opinion:
In my opinion it is ridiculous what Gary Smith had to overcome. He only did his job. Also the reaction of the four Muslim men is unacceptable and I am glad to hear they were sent to prison for a couple of years. The man who claimed he did it in the name of Allah is really mad in his head, so it is better to sent him also to a psychologist (next to prison). I am glad to hear the teacher survived the attack and for what I have read he is also teaching again. He also could have become scared to teach ever again, but fortunately this was not the case.
